Goff designed the civil and structural components for a Design-Build 6,000 sq.ft. facility, including office space, a conference room, and vehicle storage. The Bureau of Reclamation is the project owner and required the design meet the Department of the Interior’s design and LEED standards. The civil design included the building siting, requisite site circulation, parking, circulation corridors, access paths, and landscape areas for screening, drainage, water quality treatment, site lighting and trash enclosure. The site landscaping complimented the area and controlled stormwater runoff, providing water quality control to ensure site runoff flows were properly detained. The structural design included structural design, engineering, and production of Construction Contract Documents for the primary building structures.

USDA APHIS Tijuana Mexico Structural Peer Review

Goff is currently providing structural peer review for two structures on the Tijuana Mexico APHIS campus under a task order issued to Merrick & Company, who is the prime consultant for the IDIQ. The project required Goff’s structural and civil engineers to translate the original plans into English from Spanish and determine their accuracy.
